I had a difficult case but ultimately the beit din of America helped me by issuing seruv when needed and being very sensitive and giving me advice on what to expect at my receiving my get at a different beit din. Even though I didn’t pay them anything they helped me

They were able to get things moving

Only that I needed to show up to discuss why I wanted my get I didn’t understand why it wasn’t something that a woman has a right to ask without needing to have a court hearing but I guess that’s with every beis din

I was recommended by Ora which was very great organization and they were very sensitive about it

I remember that no one really interacted with me. I had no idea what to do or what was going on. A bunch of men sat at a table asked me my name and a bunch of other information and I felt like I was in HS and I was “in trouble with the principle”.

This beit din is a corrupt institution. They are unresponsive liars. Do not go here

Overall was a very positive experience.

Stay away from this Bes Din, they are as apathetic as it gets. Incompetent as they come. They will laugh in your face in your desperate times.

Totally incompetent, no empathy or care involved. Selfish meek people that are in it for their own pockets.

they just don't care. They are terrible people, They are not worth a cent. They are no trust worthy. They have no yiras shumayim, they should all be fired and put in cherem for abusing the power of the bes din.

The begin with the get no matter what. They will not discuss other details until the get is given. They do their best to move things along with the get process.

Once I received my get everything has been dragging out. Very hard to get a hold of them to schedule more time to discuss financial and custody.

They worked with me to give the Get despite the ex refusing to appear or participate initially.

I was disappointed that the amount in the ketubah has no meaning. I was told that I would be waiving my ketubah.

They were very clear about exactly what was going to happen at every step in the process. We did the logistics through secular mediation, so they BD only adjudicated the get.

They were objective, pleasant, sensitive, helpful.

They were courteous, respectful and efficient

Even after the get, the rabbi told me i would receive the certificate immediately since that is what my ex wanted. Then, he claimed he was coerced and the bet din said they had to conduct an “internal review” to determine the get validity. I had to send my court transcripts and wait one more year from the date my get was given for them to release the certificate.
